Red Cloud LLC, a limited liability company organized in Arkansas, United States(“Red Cloud,” “we,” “us”), is responsible for personal data collected through this website (alexonthebeach.com) and our WhatsApp business channel. “Alex on the Beach” is a brand operated by Red Cloud under license.

2. Information we collect

• Booking information: name, contact details (email, phone/WhatsApp number), Tour selection, dates, party size, pickup location, and any notes you provide.
• Payment information: processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers; we receive limited transaction details (e.g., confirmation and last four digits).
• Messaging content: messages you send or receive through our WhatsApp business channel and other communications with us.
• Website usage: basic technical data such as IP address, device/browser type, and pages viewed. We do not currently set cookies or use third-party analytics on this website.

3. How we use your information

• To take and fulfill bookings and process payments.
• To send booking-related (utility) messages such as confirmations and reminders by WhatsApp and/or email.
• To send promotional messages where you have opted in.
• To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
• To operate, secure, and improve our website and services.
• To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

4. WhatsApp and messaging

We use the WhatsApp Business Platform (provided by Meta) and our messaging provider to send and receive messages. When you message us or opt in:

• You consent to receive booking-related messages.
• Promotional messages require a separate opt-in, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Your messaging data is processed to deliver these communications and is subject to Meta's and our provider's terms in addition to this policy.

5. How we share information

• Local Operator: we share the booking details needed to deliver your Tour with our licensed local operating partner in Costa Rica.
• Service providers: payment processor, messaging/WhatsApp provider, website hosting, and similar vendors that process data on our behalf.
• Legal: where required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. International data transfers

Red Cloud LLC is based in the United States, and your information is processed in the United States and in Costa Rica (by the Local Operator) to deliver your Tour. By using our services, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these countries.

7. Data retention

We keep personal data as long as needed to provide services, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes, after which we delete or anonymize it.

8. Your rights
